Seven things about me you can add to your “gee whiz!” box
1. I love a good, juicy, greasy Little Bacon Cheeseburger from Five Guys Burgers & Fries, especially if it’s topped with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and mayo. A side of fries—sometimes Cajun—is a must too!
2. I am a California girl and don’t do snow. I survive Utah winters with lots of hot chocolate or “tall skinny sugar-free cinnamon dolce steamer no whip” from Starbucks.
3. I’ve used Lamaze (twice), hypnobirthing and Jack Johnson to get me through natural childbirth. I barely made it to the hospital in time with our first baby. You try NOT pushing while waiting for his doctor to get his butt to the hospital!
4. I haven’t always had short hair but I love it for two reasons. One, I don’t have time for hair and makeup and makeup is most important so I need an easy hairstyle. Two, short hair like mine isn’t common around these parts and I love being unique—and I love the compliments. Hey, we’re being honest here, right?
5. I had an outfit in high school that was my favorite and I wore it every Friday. It was my official Friday outfit. (If you’re a high school friend and remember that outfit, please don’t tell me. It’s humiliating.)
6. I swam on the high school swim team. My favorite events were freestyle, butterfly and IM.
7. I have a serious addiction to chocolate (Twix, Mounds, Reduced Fat Oreos, brownies, cake), jeans and shoes. Okay, that’s nothing new but admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.

Thanks Emily! I’ve never been to Five Guys – the line is always out the door when we go by and I’m too impatient.
My husband doesn’t like it when I grow my hair out because he doesn’t like it to get in his face when we’re – well. YOU KNOW.
Ew. That was kind of TMI. Sorry.
Not that he gets to decide. But I like it better short too. My hair gets OUT OF CONTROL when it’s long.
