Utah Mama: “Try some calisthenics while you carpool”
Today’s Mama just launched their new site and the changes include a group or local bloggers for each of their “local mama” sites. I threw my hat into the ring and was excited when I found out I would be joining Utah Mama s one of their new bloggers.
We all know as busy moms it can be difficult penciling in exercise; I’m always on the lookout for ideas on how to burn a few extra calories throughout the day (other than the ones I burn filling sippy cups, changing diapers and helping with homework–hey, geometry can cause a serious sweat sometimes!). I, along with some other fabulous women like my friends Pam, Vanessa and Camille, will be writing once a week on Utah Mama on everything from local family activities and cooking to parenting resources and of course, fitness. My first post when live today; it made my Monday!

I throw out a few easy exercises you can do while driving—or whenever you find yourself sitting for an extended period of time. Just today I was doing the rearview mirror trick…that whole posture thing is still a work in progress!
