Utah Mama: “Burn calories while spring cleaning”

I don’t “do” spring cleaning but if I must, I might as well get a little exercise in so I can enjoy extra toppings on my frozen yogurt. I share some fun tips about how to burn a few extra calories while doing those household chores over on Today’s Mama:

Of course, I’d much rather burn calories while laying by the pool or reading a good book, but when my feet start sticking to the floor it’s high time for a good mopping—just throw in a few lunges and you’re good to go!

    Throw in a few lunges? Have you met me? And I think mopping in general is seriously overrated. It’s why I let my kids play with ice. It melts on the tile, and I slosh the water around with a paper towel and call it good.

    Please, my friend, we must do a GNO dinner this summer before I leave for Washington in July. We all know once this baby sees the light of day my life is O-ver.

    Annie, I am officially adopting your method of mopping. And if that doesn’t work how about using all the spilled water from non-sippy cups and leftover McDonald’s napkins to mop? Is that still kosher?
