newbornI know, I know. You just can’t get enough of my super easy, super ingenious fitness tips over on Today’s Mama. I’m sure you’ve been jonesing for more ever since my “Slim down your sandwiches” post on Monday. Lucky for you I’m the kind of girl who delivers (four times, naturally, thank you).

Today on Utah Mama you’ll find my latest fitness quick tips post, “Multitask during those midnight wakings.” I’m no Jillian Michaels or Abs of Steel alumni but I am a pro when it comes to multitasking in the middle of the night when I’m up yet again for another diaper change or feeding:

When I use the word “multitask” I’m not talking about hopping on Twitter or checking the latest posts in your blog reader. I’m talking about burning a few extra calories to help shed those pregnancy pounds. Newborns often wake up a good two or three (or more) times a night. After a little midnight snack they love a little movement to soothe them back to sleep. Throw in a little three-week colic and you’ll find yourself spending your nights in the family room gently bouncing your baby while trying to stay awake. I say there’s no better time to fit in a little fitness!

To read the full post and learn about my top-secret, super nifty “midnight moves,” head over to Utah Mama for “Multitask during those midnight wakings.” If you have any tips or tricks feel free to share them by commenting on the post. The more tips the merrier—and healthier!
