How are those business socks workin’ for you?
What some might call nookie, others might call “family time” (a term our friends use and we’ve adopted because let’s face it, you can’t help but smile when you say it). But no euphemism makes me laugh like “business time”—a term coined by Flight of the Conchords in a video that has been stuck in my head since I first saw it a couple years ago. It still makes me laugh whenever I think about it . . . I just try not to have it pop into my head during our “family time” because if it does there is no hope for me whatsoever.
Because we often take “family time” far too seriously and because we all could use a good laugh on a Friday, here’s Flight of the Conchords’ “Business Time” (acoustic version). You might want to grab your favorite oversized team-building t-shirt and get comfy.
Disclaimer: If you’re a Flight of the Conchords fan then you already know “Business Time” is a song written for mature audiences. If you’re new to Flight of the Conchords, consider yourself warned! (And Mom, you may want to go back and read yesterday’s cycling post instead.)

We saw this a couple years ago too – it’s too perfect! I had friends that used to call it ‘making out’, but we don’t have listening ears so I prefer doin’ the nasty.

Oh my goodness, I remember the first time I saw this video – I laughed so hard I cried (full on tears running down my cheeks). I wasted no time in showing it to everyone I know, including my parents who didn’t seem to see the hilarity that I did…
