You spin me right round, baby, right round

I was offline from Friday midday day until about 10pm this evening and it was heaven. Just what was I doing? Playing in St. George with the family. Part of that playing included a visit to a local park that has become our all-time favorite park ever. I couldn’t resist sharing a few photos.

If you’re ever in St. George let me know and I’ll tell you where you can find this fab park, shade and all! One note of caution: if you have little ones with sensitive tummies, better bring some Dramamine!

P.S. If you’re hosting your child’s 1st birthday party—complete with piñata—at a park complete and the numerous kids in attendance don’t plan on sharing their newly acquired candy, please have them leave it in the pavilion. It’s really hard on five- and three-year-old children when bagfuls of candy are dumped out all over the playground steps with no intention of sharing it. (And really hard for moms not to give those children the evil eye.)

Evonne, I’ll go back with you! I don’t think I’ve ever actually STOPPED in St. George to enjoy it since I was in elementary school, visiting my grandma.
Emily, I would have given the evil eye as well :)

Oh, how I wish I could go to St. George. After living at Zion NP for years I would love to bring my kids to play at this playground…and the natural one at the park as well. How fun!

We have those spinny things at our local park and sadly I enjoy watching cocky little kids get stuck twirling in them unable to get out.

I eventually help them…but not until I feel satisfied they will be stumbling upon exiting.

Susie, I don’t mind public birthdays, really I don’t. It was just hard on my kids when one of the girls dumped out a huge bag full of pinata candy on one of the play structure’s steps. They asked nicely if they could have a piece and the girl said “no.” Of course my mother-in-law came over and said, “Oh, don’t you think you could share one little piece with these little kids?” Go, Grandma!

Kristina, Evonne, Camille and Marianne, it sounds like we need a trip to St. George that includes this park and Zion’s!

moosh in indy, I totally know what you mean. My 3YO was a bit dizzy after getting out and I have found myself struggling to stop the dang thing from spinning! I like your approach best…

Steph, oh, yes. You should envy our “vacations”!

This looks like SO much fun! I’m so glad you guys got the chance to get away! And, how crazy to have the pinata dump on the playground & not share? Hello?! Who planned that act of brilliance?
