(Our most recent guest Mad Libber was Melanie from Sugardoodle. You’ll love her “Christmas” Mad Libs!)

Today’s “Dating After Divorce” post comes to us courtesy of Sugar Jones from Sugar in the Raw and is from the Dysfunctional Family Therapy Adult Mad Libs book.

I first met Sugar Jones online via Twitter. At least, I think it was via Twitter—it was almost two years ago! I got to know her a little better when she was a guest speaker at the Moms Who Make It Conference in 2009. In fact, Sugar Jonesand her adorable kids stayed with my family, which was a real treat, especially for Lauren who hit it off with Sugar’s oldest.

I don’t know where Sugar Jones gets the energy to do all she does, from a strong Twitter presence to a super strong social media presence. (She works with a variety of brands and companies helping them spread the word about their products and services.) I love her sense of humor, her “realness” and her vivaciousness. She energizes a room the moment she walks in—even if it’s your living room!

After the story you’ll find a few interesting facts about Sugar Jones. Enjoy!

Yes, this really is Sugar’s life . . .

Sugar Jones

Name and/or nickname: Sugar Jones

Blog(s) and/or website(s): Sugar in the Raw.

Where you grew up: Southern California

Favorite childhood game: I always loved to swing. I felt like I could fly.

Super cool mom moment (i.e., one of those moments when you were the coolest mom ever): When I get a random hug from one of the kids and they tell me they love me.

Totally uncool mom moment (if you’re willing to share): Too many to list just one.

Your go-to “drug” of choice (e.g., Diet Coke, chocolate, Peeps, Venti anything from Starbucks): Toasted marshmallows. Mmmmm…

Your guilty indulgence (e.g., reality TV shows, pedis, chick lit): Naps.

If you were stranded on a desert island, preferably in the Caribbean, which famous person would you want with you and why? Jillian Michaels—she would make me stay in shape rather than indulge in coconuts.

Happy Monday!

Emily was the most gracious hostess! She even shared her sitter with me! Now that’s a good person. My kids still talk about all the fun they had at the Hill House. Good memories, for sure. :)

I truly LOVE Sugar. She is one of the most genuine people online and in person. And I may or may not have several photos of her cleavage… because it’s amazing people.

Are you calling her cleavage “people” or are you referring to us? LOL Maybe someday someone will take several photos of my cleavage. A girl can only hope (or hope not).

Oh, I’ve been there, trust me. This will be my first Valentine’s Day, however, where I’m actually in a relationship (it took me 30 years to come out, what can I say Don’t get me wrong, I still loathe the holiday, but at least it won’t be a bitter day for me this year.
