Mad Libs Monday: “Office Romance ” by Amy of The Family Trifecta
(Our most recent guest Mad Libber was Amy from The Idea Room. You’ll love her “Is He Too Selfish?” Mad Libs!)
Today’s “Office Romance” post comes to us courtesy of Amy from The Family Trifecta and is from the Test Your Relationship I.Q. Mad Libs book.
Another Twitter success story: I met Amy (@familytrifecta) on Twitter before I met her in person. We became conference buddies while attending EVO in Park City just a couple weekends ago. After we chatted over lunch, sat through the tech gadgets class together and became slightly depressed during the food styling workshop, we were fast friends. This gal is an absolutely amazing photographer. (She is the one I have to thank for my new profile pic in my sidebar.) Amy is sharing her experiences trying to balance “faith, family & life” on her blog, The Family Trifecta. After the story you’ll find a few interesting facts about her. Enjoy!
OFFICE ROMANCE

Yes, this really is Amy’s life…
Name and/or nickname: Amy Sanford, aimichka
Blog(s) and/or website(s): The Family Trifecta
Where you grew up: Orem, Utah
Favorite childhood game: Mousetrap
Super cool mom moment (i.e., one of those moments when you were the coolest mom ever): A few years ago, I broke my foot showing my oldest daughter a lily. I was on crutches for 4 1/2 months. While not being able to put weight on my foot, but feeling perky enough, we took the family to Disneyland. Thanks to the electric cart, my boot and my crutches, we didn’t have to wait in a single line. Disneyland will never be the same again.
Totally uncool mom moment (if you’re willing to share): Over the years there have been a lot of uncool mom moments. Most recently, work has been exhausting and I get so little time with them, but instead of always making the most out of it, sometimes I have ZERO patience with them and their “childish” ways. I need to work on that.
Your go-to “drug” of choice (e.g., Diet Coke, chocolate, Peeps, Venti anything from Starbucks): Um, anything with sugar in it. I like Hot Tamales, chocolate-covered cinnamon bears, black licorice, Milk Duds, Junior Mints, brownies, Starburst, Good-N-Plenty, Snaps and gummy bears—or anything else that is sweet and placed within 50 feet of me.
Your guilty indulgence (e.g., reality TV shows, pedis, chick lit): Zoning out in front of a crime drama with Scott after the girls have gone to bed.
If you were stranded on a desert island, preferably in the Caribbean, which famous person would you want with you and why? Johnny Depp, because back in the 21 Jump Street days he was HOT. And now, he’s just amazingly cool. Plus, I read a quote by him today: “My daughter was asked today by a little old lady in a London hotel restaurant what her daddy did – she answered ‘He’s a Pirate.’ I was very proud of that answer.” That occupation would likely come in handy if we were stranded.
