Wicked Witch Halloween printable {GIVEAWAY}
Remember how surprised I was when Rhonna asked me to be a member of the Rhonna DESIGNS cReative team? Well, I’m still a little bewildered, especially when I see the fabulous creations the other team members have designed, but it sure feels good learning something new. I absolutely LOVE learning new things.
I’m only taking baby steps (see my first baby step here), so have patience with me. I’ll figure all this digital creative stuff out, I promise. In fact, check out the Wicked Witch Halloween printable I made in both 5 x 7 and 8.5 x 11. It features my most favorite Halloween saying and one of the frames from Rhonna’s Spooky Junque Frames Kit:

I know, I know. It’s not as nifty as my friend Lara’s Poison Apple printable but I get an “A” for effort, right? (Lara does some super nifty things on Less Cake {More Frosting} AND she has super sassy short hair—two great reasons to check out her blog.)
I wanted to see what it might look like with some Halloween coloring. Kinda fun, though the orange needs to be orangier:

My favorite thing about Halloween is everything. I’m from another country and we don’t celebrate Halloween. So when I moved to the US I fall in love with everything about it from the decorations to go trick or treating.

In our family we celebrate Day of the Dead more then Halloween. I love putting out my shrines and all the pictures of the grandparents and loved ones we’ve lost, baking flour-less chili chocolate cake and having fresh flowers around the house.
As far as straight up Halloween though, I love baking pumpkin seeds after we carve our pumpkins. I always use lots of butter and salt, it’s delicious.

My fav thing about Halloween would have to be the upside down scarecrow, using a pumpkin for the head. Looks like he is doing a handstand in the front yard. Sure causes slower traffic on our street! He does need to be tied to the light pole as the Oct winds can ruin his chances at the Guiness Book he tries for every year!!! TFS & for the chance @ a very nice giftie!!

I love making Halloween costumes with my daughter for the grandchildren. We have spent some great times sewing fun things. Now her 10 year old daughter wants to sew with us.

That is so awesome! My grandmother didn’t sew but she did try to teach me to knit. Sadly I was all thumbs.
