A children’s virtual art exhibit
I think one of the reasons I am lacking in creativity is because my kids took more than their fare share when I birthed them. (They took more than their fair share of brain cells as well. So not cool.)
I love watching them put pencil—or pen or crayon or Sharpie (okay, not Sharpie)—to paper and creating masterpieces of children’s art. Remember that fabulous drawing Livi did over a year and a half ago? She’s still going strong.
I asked the kids to pick their favorite drawing so I could brag about highlight it in today’s post. Here’s the artwork they chose:

Yeah, I’m kind of proud of them.

Me too. I’ve tried but all I can do is fairly decent stick figures. ;)

I am too! I wonder if Lauren would like to get into graphic design already, do they do classes that young for kids into that?

I’m not sure about classes at her age but she is taking art in middle school from a very, very cool art teacher. I’m excited to see how it goes!

I love that. No one, and I mean no one, so far, in this house is artsy. I am definitely the worst. EVER.

I am at the very bottom of the list, Carrian. Another reason we are friends. :)

My kids’ creativity gives me hope for the future. My oldest loves woodworking and I am in awe of things he makes. Your little artists did a great job!

I never thought about it that way but I guess mine also give me hope for the future. Loved woodworking in middle school. I still have the rolling pin I made that won first prize at the fair. :)
