Please tell me you’ve seen the movie. If not, I’ll forgive you as long as you promise to rent it this week.
I’m pretty sure you need to join me for the evening. I know I’m not much of a draw, but you did read the part about hors d’oeuvres, right? You’ll also get to meet the faces behind Hale Centre Theatre’s regional premiere of 9 to 5 before sitting down for what promises to be a truly entertaining evening. (You know exactly what I’m talking about if you’ve seen the movie.)

Here are the details:
WHEN: Wednesday, September 19th
Pre-show fun (i.e., mxing, mingling, eating, picture taking*) starts at 6:30 p.m.
Show starts at 7:30 p.m. (please be in your seats by 7:15 p.m.).
WHERE: Hale Centre Theatre, 3333 South Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City
Meet in the fireplace lounge (to the right as you enter the theater).
* Cameras are welcomed for the activities before the show.

I wanna go. I actually have season tickets with my son – that’s our monthly mother/son date, but if I win these then we can bring along his girlfriend, and the rest of the family. And besides it would be so much MORE fun with my blogger friends! I think my favorite production has been Fiddler on the Roof, but I’m really looking forward to Oliver next month.

I’ve NEVER been to Hale Theater! I love LOVE love musicals though! My favorite movie when I was little (and now) if Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I started to love theater and musicals at a young age! would LOVE to see 9 to 5. My sisters and I grew up singing the songs!!! :)

It might be unoriginal, but I loved Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Oh, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. And Thoroughly Modern Millie. And basically everything else I’ve ever seen there!
