According to Kid History…

…moms are really great at making delicious, healthy food with lots of tofu.

And supporting pint-size entrepreneurs.

Madison and Lauren first showed me a couple of these Kid History videos from BoredShortsTV on YouTube and I was hooked. Holy crap, these videos are funny. You have kids retelling stories from their parents’ personal history…and the parents acting it out on camera.

Combine awesome voice-overs with creative costuming and the most hilarious retelling of past events and you have some seriously fun family entertainment.

Kid History: “Healthy Food” Episode 6 is one of my favorites. I’m also a fan of “Camping” Episode 5 and “Fact!” Episode 4.

Check it out. You (and your family) can thank me later.

We’re pretty sure it’s filmed in Utah. You can’t ignore those gorgeous Utah mountains in the background.

Oh, and be prepared to have your kids quoting snippets from the videos for quite some time after viewing them. You may even find yourself talking about the price of completos (Chilean hot dogs) while on a date night with your husband.

Had I known you hadn’t heard of Kid History, I would have told you! We’ve been following Kid History since Episode 2! And always look forward to the new episodes! Seriously so cleverly done. :) The family that produces them (and stars in them) are the uncles to a gal that was in a previous ward of mine.
