Fall recipe roundup

2012 November 8
by Emily Hill

After baking the most delicious cookies for a guest post on Tatertots & Jello (look for the post next week), I hit my “fall is in the air” board on Pinterest to see what other fall-inspired desserts I should try next.

With everything from brandied apple pie to pumpkin cream cheese truffles, I simply could not decide which fall recipe to make. The whole “choosing between two good things” has always been a struggle. I have narrowed it down…to seven.

Heaven help me…and my waistline.

Brown butter apple hand pies

Pumpkin cream cheese truffles

Brandied apple pie

Baked apple doughnuts

Perfect apple crisp

Pumpkin spice granola bars

Toffee apple pie

Of course, I’ll have to drink some of this Polar Express Hot Chocolate while baking…and eating all of those fall recipe pins.

And let’s not forget about those melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon & sugar pumpkin mini muffins (or donut holes) I baked up last year. Mmm…

Looks like I’ll be baking every other day until Christmas. ‘

Tis the season!
