Roasted cinnamon almonds & a delicious giveaway!

2012 November 13
by Emily Hill

Mmmmm…roasted cinnamon almonds…

I couldn’t have been more excited when I was invited to guest post for the annual Holiday Bake Craft Sew Along put together by Rachel from A Southern Fairytale, Kelly from According 2 Kelly and Cindy from Skip to My Lou.

Holiday Bake Craft Sew Along

Each day this month you’ll find guest posts on all three sites around the theme “a handmade homemade holiday.” Rachel’s guests are dishing up recipes, Kelly’s are creating crafts and Cindy’s are sewing up a storm. The list of participating bloggers is amazing as is the giveaway I get to offer ITRML readers.

Think of it as an early Christmas gift from Rachel to you. Yes, she’s that awesome.

Yesterday was my day to participate in the Holiday Bake Craft Sew Along and I chose a recipe that not only makes your home smell divine but also makes the perfect holiday gift for friends and neighbors.

Oven roasted cinnamon sugar almonds

These roasted cinnamon almonds taste even better than they look. I should know because I sampled at least 37 to make sure. These cinnamon almonds are so easy to make, you’ll probably hate me because you’ll make them multiple times during the holidays AND eat half the batch.

If you want to see the recipe for these drool-inducing roasted cinnamon almonds, check out my guest post on A Southern Fairytale.

And now for the Holiday Bake, Craft, Sew Along GIVEAWAY!

Holiday Bake Sew Craft Along giveaway

Your home will smell SO good, especially if you have an upstairs. The scent of whatever I’m baking seems to always congregates in the upstairs bedrooms. Nothing like falling asleep to the smell of cinnamon almonds!
