The Inspiration Board & a Valentine’s party
Remember the adorable Jamielyn from i heart nap time? Her site is just as cute—and popular—as ever, so it’s no surprise her new adventure, The Inspiration Board, closely follows in its footsteps.
The Inspiration Board officially launched this week, and to celebrate, Jamielyn’s holding a contest with a prize package that includes:
- $500 cash for overall best board.
- Canon Rebel for overall best fashion/lifestyle board.
- Kitchen Aid mixer for overall best party/food board.
- Silhouette CAMEO for overall best home/DIY/craft board.
…
You can get all the details on i heart nap time plus a tutorial on how to create your inspiration boards.
I went online last night and created this fun Valentine’s Sweetheart Party board:
Here are the direct links to each item on the board:
- Vintage kissing booth poster
- Valentine’s punch
- Valentine’s “mustache” printables
- Heart cupcakes
- Valentine’s photo booth
- Red velvet rice krispie treats
- Valentine’s bingo game
…
I’m thinking I might need to create one for my sister’s shower I’m hosting the end of March. Then if it doesn’t turn out as planned because of a dessert or decor fail, I can print out the board, show it to her and say, “Here’s how it’s supposed to look. Something obviously got lost in translation.”
Head over to The Inspiration Board to see what’s inspiring others and create a bit of inspiration yourself. Be careful, though. Before you know it the clock will read 2:24 a.m. and you’ll have no idea where the the last hour and a half have gone.
True story.

It’s only about an hour past my usual bedtime. Sadly, I’ll probably turn into an old lady long before you do because you get more sleep!

I would love to have the recipe for the punch that is pictured on your Valentine’s Sweetheart Party board! I went to the enchantresses3blog and can’t seem to find the punch. Would you please tell me where you found it?
Thanks.

Here is the specific URL (it wouldn’t fit on the board): http://enchantresses3.blogspot.com/2010/02/hugs-and-kisses-baby-shower.html?m=1. I noticed above the photo she lists the ingredients but no actual recipe. But punches are pretty forgiving so I bet you could play with it and make it super yummy!

Thanks so much for the info., Emily! I really enjoyed browsing
her blog. Some really neat things on it! Do you know her
personally?
I wonder what happened that she quit posting as of Oct. 2012?
I’d love to see her start up again. :)
I don’t know how the punch will turn out without using a recipe
but I can give it a try!
Thanks again.

I don’t know her at all. That’s the first time I’ve visited her blog. Good luck with the punch–let me know how it turns out!
