Bloggers survive TITLE Boxing “power hour”
Just over two weeks ago I announced the first TITLE Boxing Club in Utah. Since then TITLE Boxing Club Cottonwood Heights has been featured on multiple news outlets and is quickly becoming the must-join gym in Utah. And it’s easy to see why—convenient classes, awesome staff and a “power hour” that can burn up to 1,000 calories if you Hit It Hard®.
Nathan, Lauren (TITLE Boxing is great for kids too!) and I have “hit it hard” a few times over the past couple weeks and I tell you what, I’m always a bit sore the next day.
But it’s that feel-good sore, so it’s way okay.
I wanted to help spread the word about TITLE Boxing Club and so I helped put together a blogger night at the new gym.
We had 12 very brave, very awesome gals show up that night. I say “brave” and “awesome” because I told them ahead of time about TITLE’s “power hour” class…and they still came. These women were rarin’ and ready to sweat—and sweat we did.

In fact, I think Brandie mentioned something about her shins sweating by the end of class. Have you ever worked so hard your shins sweat? I didn’t think so. Brave and awesome that one.
My core might have been extra sore due to laughing hysterically as Jenny and Jill infused a little Zumba action into the power hour.
Our instructor that evening was Maryguenn, one of my faves. That woman can kick my butt like nobody’s business (except Nathan’s). Fortunately she was nice enough to leave everyone’s butt intact that evening, which is good because a few had to make the long drive home to Utah County.
Jab! Cross! Hook! Uppercut!
After buckets of sweat, we were treated to some healthy fare put together by Dash, another TITLE Boxing instructor, and his wife Lindsay. She made the most delicious coconut poppy seed salad dressing—and you can thank me later for that link.
We noshed on some delicious food (did I already mention the coconut poppy seed salad dressing?!), had a few giveaways and went home thoroughly exhausted by and totally addicted to TITLE Boxing Club.

It was a very good night.

SIDE NOTE: To learn more about Dash and Lindsay, visit their blog at AlignFiles.com. They’re new at the blogging thing so I’d love for you to head over and browse a bit. Maybe you could even pin a couple recipes like the one for coconut curry veggies over quinoa or whole wheat pancakes. Dash and Lindsay are also following the Fritinger family on their journey to health and wellness. It’s quite the interesting story.

Wow Emily, thanks for including us in your review! It was so nice to meet you. Maybe I will see you at one of the boxing classes soon. Have you tried kickboxing yet? It’s so invigorating! There’s just something about kicking something really hard that makes you feel sooo good ;)–Lindsay

I did attend one of the kickboxing classes and loved mixing it up with some great kicks to the bag. Why is it hitting a 100-lb bag makes you feel so good? ;)
