What’s on YOUR bucket list?

2014 February 28
by Emily Hill

Years ago–probably right around the time The Bucket List hit theaters–I sat down and created a handwritten list of everything I wanted to see/do/accomplish in my life but sadly I haven’ the faintest idea where it is.

I’m sure it was filled with all kinds of nifty things but not nifty like skydiving and swimming with sharks.

Recently I’ve wanted to create a new bucket list as part of my “what the heck do I want to be when I grow up” dilemma. When Bufferin asked if I would participate in their Bufferin Bucket List campaign, I was all over it. Plus how adorable is their literal interpretation of a bucket list?

I’ll be posting the super easy tutorial next week. And by “super easy” I mean “you probably don’t even need a tutorial.”

Okay, so I may have fancied it up a bit with some Hawaiian Duck Tape and colorful Scotch tape, but this is a bucket list after all and the bucket should be as fabulous as what’s written on those clothespins.

On the list you’ll find everything from publishing a book to owning a vacation home on the beach. You’ll also find go on a Mediterranean cruise but you won’t find it clipped to the side of the bucket. Instead you’ll find it here:

Last September I was able to cross off Mediterranean cruise and threw in two days in Rome for good measure. It was seriously a dream come true, my friends.

Next to be “unclipped” from the bucket list: the clothespin front and center in the top photo that reads “attend culinary workshop in Italy.” Thanks to a recipe challenge I won in December of last year, Nathan and I will be attending the Toscana Saporita cooking school the end of May.

And yes, I keep pinching myself to make sure I’m not dreaming.

The trip is going to be fast and furious which is why I’m considering taking an entire bottle of Bufferin with me…maybe even this one.

In fact, a few of the items on my bucket list may call for Bufferin. Transoceanic travel (the “travel to Asia” and “attend culinary workshop” clothespins) can be exhausting and sitting for hours often leads to random aches and pains (and very swollen ankles). Fortunately Bufferin pain relief tablets are formulated by combining the pain relief of aspirin with three different buffering agents, which means they relieve those aches and pains while neutralizing stomach acid that can cause stomach discomfort.

Stomach discomfort is the last thing I need when whipping up delicious Italian food in the middle of Tuscany.

Plus Bufferin is the only non-prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that’s gentler on said stomach. And even better, it’s available at Walgreen’s and Walmart, both of which are located in my neighborhood. No transatlantic travel to find those babies!

But enough about Bufferin and my bucket list. Are you ready to get started on yours? If you answered “HECK YES!” then pay attention.

Bufferin is hosting an awesome sweepstakes to help you “unclip” those bucket list items. Here’s more info about the sweepstakes:
